Origin Story
Hailing as a nomad & wanderer, Kristin arrived in Dallas out of chaos, with little vision but seeking a sense of revival & a redemption arc. Trying to depart industrial sewing vocationally, but somewhat stymied by a global swerve through pandemic, Kristin began hosting an intimate yet casual test kitchen community. The motivation was based in education & social connection, yet the project matured into a more directed culinary focus whereby Kristin grew into operating a meal delivery service for a private list of devoted clients. Thus BARDOVORE emerged, fell into incubatory periods, reappeared, rested, (digested,) so that now in this latest expansive iteration we are proud to claim that the greater growth spiral of Kristin's story is more fully captured in contemporary aspirations for BARDOVORE. So welcome to this bardo..
& THE GREATER CONSTELLATION
Kristin moved a lot growing up, so change & adaptation are comfort structures in her world -- hence the multirealizability of BARDOVORE (materializing in different forms or ways). Similarly, Kristin has accumulated a roster of jobs that until now never really served a purpose unless fragmented, compartmentalized, betrayed or ignored. Just as integration has been a key tenet to her recovery practice (yes, addiction is a big part of her story too), it follows that integration fully extend to the virtue of its meaning -- meaning BARDOVORE operates in alignment with greater integration efforts (meaning BARDOVORE harbors no lies, no secrets, no shadows, but conducts affairs honestly & with internally consistent cohesion).
